Abstract
|
|
|
The authors reported a case of "Kleptomania" in 46 years old male patient. The clinical characteristics in this case were as follows.
1) Repeated irrestible impulse to steal that are not for immediate use or monetary value.
2) Increasing sense of release at the time of commiting the theft.
3) Experience of release at the time of commiting the theft.
4) Self-reproach or guilty feeling after the theft.
5) Nearly free interval between the impulsive acts.
